Oh, and you'd like all of that as well as an incredible ever-changing view of sand, sea, and a spectacular mountain range?

Gosh, you want it all, don’t you? Fear not, friend, you’ve found it! Finally, you can stop the incessant searching...?

Our sun-and-sea-blessed retreat is perched on a hillside. It gifts visitors with a view to die for. Watch the gorgeous ever-changing sea, mountain, and sky-scapes as they pull you into a relaxed frame of mind, filling you with awe and wonder. These are the small quiet moments that make life great.

Relax on the deck (or in the comfy lounge) and watch the boats cruise and the windsurfers glide, then top it off with a glass of your favourite tipple as the incredible sunset works its magic.

There are walking trails nearby, as well as bike tracks. Very close by is the fascinating Founders Heritage Park, great for kids and adults alike, with its village museum of houses, shops, and transport, a vintage railway line, a lovely café, a bar that stocks craft beers and local wines, and artisan foods and crafts.

Tranquil Tides is only a short drive to Nelson's city centre, but a world away from the hustle and bustle. This 4-bedroom architect-designed home welcomes all lovely people, be they families with kids, couples, or a group of friends. Long-term stays are also welcome.

Inclusions

'Tranquil Tides' will be presented with beds made, ready for your stay.

All utilities, linens & towels, use of all listed property amenities, pantry & sanitary basics, departure linen service & standard housekeeping up to 3 hours will be included in your booking.

Extra charges will apply where additional cleaning, BBQ or oven cleaning or excessive rubbish disposal is required.

Professional Housekeeping & Linen Laundering

At Holiday Nelson we take a thorough approach toward cleanliness and hygiene practices for your and our families peace of mind. 

All high contact, food preparation and hard wet surfaces are hygienically cleaned and sanitised and our linens are professionally laundered at 80ºC, with bed linens further ironed at 120ºC by one of New Zealand's leading laundry experts, leaving them crisp, clean & superbly comfortable!

Garage - Please note the garage is not available for guest use, but the driveway provides ample off-street parking :-)

Pond - Please note there is a small pond in the front garden area. This is covered with netting, but small children will require supervision in this area.

Spa Pool use - Use of the spa is not permitted after 10pm due to local regulations & the proximity of neighbouring properties that may be affected by noise.

Stairs - Please note this home has stairs.

Check in & Check out

Check-in is possible anytime after 2pm or from noon where the option of early check-in has been purchased.

Early check-in (12pm/noon and in some cases earlier) can usually be offered for an additional charge. Please request this at the time of booking or at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.

Check-out is to be completed by 10am on your day of departure unless ‘Late check-out’ has been purchased.
